When the"Sustainable Development"became the global stratagem for harmonious development between the human and nature,"Green Wave"has been emerged in construction area, and green building has become the necessary trend in construction industry. In order to achieve the sustainable development of building, the stratagem of Sustainable Development must be carried out during the whole life circle of building, viz. in the phase of decision-making, design, construction and operation of building. Construction phase is the most direct and concentrated stage of the impact on the environment and the consumption of resources, Green Construction has become an essential requirement for building projects, establish a scientific and effective evaluation system for Green Construction is benefit to promoting the development of green construction. This study was around the theme of evaluating Green Construction.This paper was start with the development of the theory of Green Building and Green Construction, and defined the meaning of the Green Construction. The main content of Green Construction was summarized as the following six aspects: green construction management, environmental protection, material resource use, water conservation and water use, energy use and energy saving, and construction land protection, and every aspect was conducted in depth. Then on the basis of comparative analyses of the green building assessment system at home and abroad on the aspect of the development version, weighting system, index system and evaluation results, a green construction evaluation system framework was established from three areas: impact on the environment, the conservation and use of energy and resources, integrated management of the construction site. Green Construction is considered a multi-objective, multi-factor, multi-level complex system, it has the characteristics of "grey system", so a grey cluster assessment methodology was used as Green Construction evaluation methods in this paper, and the evaluation procedure was given.Finally, by analysis of the application of the grey cluster approach of green construction evaluation in actual project, the evaluation system established in this paper was certified to be scientific and operable.
