To make continual developments and maintain international competition, one of significant method is the enterprise can adopt advanced quality management method and techniques to improve product quality, improve work procedure, reduce cost of quality and management. Six-sigma is one of science and systemic quality management method and technique. It can be made continuous improvement and improve enterprise processes by six sigma management. Then eliminate the root of defects from radically, finally to meet with customer requirements and reach product quality improvements and cost saving goals. Donaldson (Wuxi) Filters Co. Ltd. implemented Lean six sigma strategy through strategic revolution under the pressure of quality cost continuously raised up and profit constantly drop down. Donaldson initial implemented Lean manufacture in 2006 and implemented Lean Six Sigma in 2007 supporting from our US headquarter. It set up Lean and Six sigma combined management technique. Deploy the Lean six sigma culture through each business unit. To get understanding not only from the Lean six sigma technique interface but also the culture interface by implement Lean six sigma black belt project. It has made huge cost saving and win the maximum profit space for the company.The law expounded by Lean six sigma management background, principle and characteristics, and introduce Donaldson (Wuxi) Filters Co., Ltd. develop Lean six sigma culture journey under headquarter and top management supporting. Donaldson Wuxi created a 3-years Lean Six Sigma perspective development strategy in 2007. Utilized six sigma DMAIC technique to make in the quality of customer needs through target definition stage started down into functional quality in product design, production chain key qualitative characteristics. In accordance with Lean six sigma management thinking, identify improvement project to improve and optimize processes to reach the objectives. In this paper detail present use Design of experiment (DOE) to reduce Engine air filter element scrap rate project. Through this project, it is applied six sigma improvement technique to identify the critical factors and make improvement actions. The scrap rate has been got great improved and achieved significant finance result. Through display the harvest results of projects, it is presented Donaldson Wuxi acquired great successful by develop Lean Six Sigma management.
