The Research On Supplier Evaluation Based On The Circumstance Of Cooperative Partnership

With the development of the social economy, there are many changes between the enterprises and their suppliers. The cooperative partnership has become the main trend in supply chain management. Under this circumstance the traditional supplier management needs to be broken so as to build the cooperative partnership. While the supplier evaluation is the basis of the supply chain management. It has also become the important factors whether the supply chain can be successful or not. Based on the review of the related literatures in recent years, at first, this paper illustrates the present condition and develops the trend of cooperative partnership of supply chain's enterprise. Second, this paper discusses the characters and the importance of supply chain's cooperative partnership. Through the empirical study, this paper sets up the index system of supplier evaluation focusing on the internal competitiveness, the cooperation compatibility, the external competitiveness and the prospect of the supplier.At the same time, this paper deeply analyzes the weakness of the traditional evaluation methods, and then illustrates the principles and the merits of the feed-forward back-propagation (BP) neural network based on the Matlab6.5 in the supplier evaluation. It also builds the BP supplier evaluation model based on the former evaluation index system. At last, a case study of company A is given to test the feasibility of the BP model based on the Matlab6.5. The results show that BP neural network is feasible and objective for the supplier evaluation and provide scientific foundation for the enterprise decisions.
