Studying On Strategies Of Developing Hinterland Of Guangzhou In The Background Of Pan-PRD Cooperation

At the process of regional economic development, the central city and hinterland is mutual support, and mutual basis. Central City is not only providing services for development of the hinterland, but also relying on the hinterland and growing and developing because of it.Since the 1970s,with the constant deepening of China's opening to the outside world, Guangzhou gains a rapid rise via its policy advantages and the coastal areas advantage and became the country's third largest city. However, with the policy advantages and the coastal areas advantage loss, as well as difficulties in the existing economic structure upgrading and transition, the economic center of Guangzhou is increasingly subject to the region and the outside city's tough challenges, and its hinterland is becoming more and narrower and even divided. Faced with this situation, in this paper I propose that in the context of the Pan-PRD regional cooperation, we should split the hinterland of the city of Guangzhou, grasp the evolution of the hinterland of Guangzhou and build "a circle two Gallery Three districts" eight major hinterland strategic concept on the basis of the Pan-PRD cooperation, and then propose a series of measures to expand hinterland of Guangzhou city, enhance the competitiveness of Guangzhou, make Guangzhou a modernization Metropolis which" leads the province, radiates southern China, and influents Southeast Asia Metropolis."...
