Modern aero-engine has a complex structure and a great difficulty in development technology, the performance and accomplishment of developing project of each type engine is a huge system engineering. Its research, design, trial-production and development can be realized depending on scientific, high quality and efficiency management. At present, there are many management modes and flows which combine various management theories with practice, but few specially applied to aero-engine development management flow. This thesis focuses on a main state-owned large-size aero-engine manufacturing enterpriseā€”LM company, and carries out research based on optimizing aero-engine development flow, advancing management level of developing project.LM Company cannot meet the requirement of modern project management technology application. Therefore, it is a necessary condition of applying modern project management in development project that make optimization which conforms to modern project management thought to the management flow, which is another emphasis of the thesis.Based on a large number of data and sufficient research, the essay begins with the current situation analysis of our aero engines, and summarizes some problems during the R&D process, then indicates the target and operating principles of process optimization, and takes LM Company as a typical example to introduce the actual steps of process optimization in detail. The essay aims to demonstrate that it is necessary and feasible to optimize the process of aero engines and hopes to give some references for other companies.
