Study On Enterprise Environmental Performance Evaluation System Based On The Sustainable Development

The Industrialized Revolution of eighteenth century saw the overexploitation of natural resources and careless discharge of pollutants.As a result,the environment has been degrading.Along with the fast development of our economy,the environmental problem presents increasingly and outstandingly,having already become one of the important problems that our government and social public pay attention to. Enterprises are main individuals of social activities,and are also major manufacturers of environmental issues,therefore,they will inevitably become the main individuals to solve environmental problems.So it has to adopt valid measures to promoting the active aware of environmental management of business enterprises.This paper based on achievements in domestic and international environmental performance evaluation,constructed theoretical framework of enterprise environmental performance evaluation system based on sustainable development,and creatively combined the Green Economic Value-Added(GEVA) to the Balanced Score Card(BSC),constructed the enterprise environmental performance evaluation indicators system that is suitable for our country steel industry enterprises,and then studied on its specific application.The paper is divided into six chapters.Chapter one mainly specified the background and its theoretical and practical significance of studying enterprise environmental performance evaluation system,as well as the main content of the paper.Chapter two introduced related concepts of enterprise environmental performance evaluation and discussed the feasibilities and advantages of combinating GEVA to BSC.And then,it analyzed sustainable development, contractual,stakeholders,strategic management and contingency management theories,provided necessary cushion and analytical premise for this paper.The third chapter is the main part of the paper,mainly improved and updated the content of the enterprise environmental performance evaluation system which based on sustainable development,and explored how to organize and implement it.The forth chapter is the core content of the paper,mainly studied issues such as establishing the indicator system of enterprise environmental performance evaluation,the comprehensive evaluation method of enterprise environmental performance and so on.Chapter five took the B steel industry enterprise as example,verificated the enterprise environmental performance evaluation system,and got evaluation conclusion.The final chapter made some conclusions of the paper,and noted the shortage of the research.
