With the upcoming of globalization and information technology, knowledge economy, as a fire-new form of economy, is emerging in this economic world. Under this situation, the automobile market becomes more and more complicated and variable driven by the surging of technique advance and the continual shortening the life circle of automobile. As knowledge-intensive enterprises, R&D (research and development) will be the important source and power to the survival and development of automobile enterprises, while the operation and development of Automobile Corporation no longer mainly depends on traditional resources such as capital, natural resource and labor force. However, knowledge turns into the most positive and important resource in productivity, most of them is tacit knowledge which is deep in the knowledgeable members' brain.While tacit knowledge is the generalization of people's experience, intuition and understanding gained from certain environment and based on specific intelligence and value standard. Different from tangible assets, people can get increasing returns from tacit knowledge. If properly managed and shared in an organization, its value will be increased exponentially. By exploring the tacit knowledge existences in the employee individual, and build the mechanism of sharing knowledge, Tacit knowledge management can promoting the person who most needs the knowledge combine with the various knowledge and improving the ability of innovation and development of the organization. In order to make full use of the experience of staff and other corporations in this industry and promote knowledgeable innovation, cut R&D cost, increase efficiency of R&D in new products, it is inevitable for Automobile Corporations to introduce tacit knowledge management into the ordinary management and operation to meet the modern management requirement when competing in automobile market.At first, based on the theories of knowledge and knowledge management, this thesis primarily analyses the necessity and difficulties of tacit knowledge management by referring to the connotation and characteristics of tacit knowledge. Secondly, based on the introduction of automobile R&D process, this thesis analyzes the content and characteristics of knowledge through the whole process, analyzes the tacit knowledge sharing link of the model from the view of the game theory, and then puts forward the tacit knowledge management model in the automobile R&D process. Thirdly, this thesis totally analyzes the implementation of tacit knowledge management, builds up the implementation model of tacit knowledge management, and then gives a detailed introduction from the aspects of system security, the perfection of tacit knowledge process and the construction of information technical platform. Finally, this thesis analyzes tacit knowledge management from the view of practice by referring to a domestic automobile enterprise, which verifies the necessity and urgency of the implementation of tacit knowledge management for Chinese automobile enterprises. To a certain extent, this paper expands the span and depth of the application of tacit knowledge management in automobile R&D process, and proposes some suggestions to Chinese automobile enterprise managing their tacit knowledge.
