5S is a working-spot management method coming from Japan. Many experiences indicate that it can bring significant improvement of all-round performance (such as finer image, lower cost, less delivery time, safer working, higher standardization, more comfortable working place, etc.) in an organization. Some Chinese enterprises adopted this management method years ago, but less accomplished. Most of them were anticlimactic or ended up with nothing definite. Why this effective and successful management in Japan and some other countries but be defeated in China?Gemba management makes a good sense on the improvement of logistical, cost reducing, quality enhancing, and lessening labor's working intensity, heightening working efficiency.This essay aims at reflecting the importance of gemba management for the existing and development of enterprise. And make our enterprises realize this, then try to enhance the level of gemba management and become excellent enterprises with advanced international management level. Gemba management makes a good sense on the improvement of logistical, cost reducing, quality enhancing, and lessening labor's working intensity, heightening working efficiency. Through studying on gemba management of product line, the author sets down a set of measures according to visual management, configure management and 5S managing and generally achieve the aim. The environment is standardized, labor's diathesis is heightened and the efficiency of product line is enhanced.
