Research On Local Degree Of Transnational Corporation In China

Since the first transnational corporation was founded in 1865, transnational corporation has become the certain organization to allocate multinational resources perfectly, enhance profit rate in the world. Especially with the economy globally development, transnational corporation is welcome warmly. But it has difficulty on its way for difference among countries. So transnational corporation carries out local strategy meanwhile taking global strategy to cater for the differences. Local and global strategies help each other. Local strategy is a tool and guarantee for globalization. But how to control local degree so that local branches can carry forward good tradition from mother corporation meanwhile it is adapt to local culture different from mother corporation is a problem in front of managers in transnational corporation. Lots of transnational corporations failed just for that they had not mastered local degree. So research on local degree for transnational corporation has been emphasis in theory. In the paper a local degree index was set up, which is a tool for the research in quantity. It is base in theory for research on best local degree for transnational corporation in different fields. On the basis of analysis on local strategy of transnational corporation it applied derfy technique to collect data and professional suggestion, measured local degree through local degree index for transnational corporation in the paper. It is the first time to make a tool to exactly measure local degree of transnational corporation. It gave support for leading and research on transnational corporation. Local research for transnational corporation was enhanced to research in quantity rather than subject research. So it is possible to research relationship among culture,industry and local degree for transnational corporation.
