Research On Project Management Model Of Power Source Sub-system For Spaceflight Aircraft

The research status of spaceflight aircraft power source system of BS Institute was analyzed. The existing problems of low management effective, information inactive, complex relation, in rigorous plan, etc. were shown. The successful management experiences of overseas space companies on spaceflight aircraft products were discussed. The results show that project management is a general management method for pre-study, basic research, model development, examination and manufacture, and also is a suitable method for development and manufacture of large projects on space products. Most management structures of companies are matrix composition, and the project manager on model management is full-time. On the side of the management method of domestic space companies, they established management system based on theory and method of system project, and carried out project management with the step of reform and improvement of space management system, in order to keep up with the international step.The root of the problems was found after the management model of spaceflight aircraft power system products was analyzed by management theory and technology. The more ideal and suitable matrix management model was introduced by lending successful experience from domestic and overseas companies. The new core department---space project department, is established, in which the project management director leads project managers to manage the whole model projects; and management procedure is adjusted, the responsibility of different departments and managers is denned. The matrix management model is adopted, there're projects group under space project department, the project manager leads the project group, and other people were sent by other departments and research sections. The advantages of project management were shown sufficiently. It is good for strengthen of genera1 technology, development of various models, and communication among research sections; and at the same time, the management was strengthened, and it is suitable for comprehensive utilization and balance of people, wealth and property. It can reduce the research period, lower research cost and conquer shortages.
