Entering into the 21st century, supply chain management both in theory and in practice is gaining more attention. Chinese enterprises improvise to profit maximization has been gradually become a thing of the past. any business only with one upstream or downstream enterprises established cooperative relations, can be a win-win. And now the competition from the past simply meaning of competition among enterprises into businesses where the supply chain competition. Therefore, the establishment of a competitive supply chain become an important success factor.At present, more research focused on the establishment of evaluation system and evaluation Index , which make vendor management more quantitative, more scientific, but at the same time bring a problem : the lack of targeted, because different vendors, for enterprise ,the importance is not the same, Using the same criteria to evaluate different vendors will inevitably result the goal is not clear and lack of flexibility The vendor management, and needs to choose relations with suppliers compatible management strategy ; on this issue, the paper breakdown different types of vendors on strategic and operational to choose different strategies and evaluation indicators. On my view , This is more practical significance.In this paper, the vendors According to supply products and the market situation of suppliers were divided into four categories : small suppliers, key suppliers, General suppliers and strategic suppliers. Combining the features vendors , The vendor management strategies and control were chosen in different ways , therefore, On operational the indicators for the evaluation were carried out different options and the focus. Using Dialectical method to deal with the various suppliers.In order to be able to integrate with the actual, The paper selected China South Rolling Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Co.,Ltd. as an example to analysis the company's vendor management, in the actual operation , for different vendors choose different strategies, such as takeing consignments and dynamic recording and so on Various methods, At the same time reducing the costs while improving the efficiency of the supply chain. It also facilitates the enterprise view of the actual situation to make a better choice of vendor management strategies and methods.
