Salary management is one of the keys in the human resources management, even to the whole business management. For the employee, it is the original motivation in their career life, the symbol of their social status and the methods to achieve self-worth. For enterprises, it is the link between employee and employer, the two interests groups by invisible and visible ways. So the key issue is how to establish fair and equitable system which is a clear link between individual pay and work contribution scientifically and reasonably.So the effective salary management can promote employee's motivation that they will work hard for enterprises objectives. For this instant, it can helpful for human resources manager identify, attract and employ qualified human resources in the most challenging competition world.However, the salary management in state-owned enterprise(SOE) is traditional. It is provided for system of contracted responsibility. It is still have some factors which are not suit for the new economic market. So it is urgency to reform salary management and to establish modern enterprise policies.According to the policies in P.R.C., Jinchuan Group Ltd. adopt modern salary management and apply advanced management theory and methods and use the experience of other countries for reference. Jinchuan Group Ltd.impersonally and equitably evaluate the job performance .establish comprehensive modern human resources management system. Although Jinchuan Group Ltd. make certain achievement in salary management through skill-knowledge pay style, there are still some defects in it.This essay through salary survey, analyzing the defects of salary management in Jinchuan Group Ltd.in addition, it provides work plan so that emprises can practice salary theory with the useful references.
