Service Challenge And Development Trend Face To Chinese Telecommunication Equipment Manufacturers

With the rapid development of Chinese telecom industry in the past 20 years, world's largest telecom network has been built in china. Chinese telecom equipment manufacturers grew so greatly that they began to participate in the international market competition. However, these manufacturers still focus on the implement stage of service contracts, without taking telecom operators' needs into full consideration. Therefore, many big manufacturers, such as zhongxing and huawei, face great challenges when they open up new markets abroad, which directly influence their sustainable development. Based on intensive study in this field, this paper specifies the challenges faced by telecom equipment manufacturers, points out the development trend of the service strategy and propose several suggestions.This paper comprises 4 chapters. Chapter two analyzes the overall circumstance of telecom industry and draws a conclusion that this industry will continue to keep a rapid growth. In such circumstance, it is urgent and necessary for the telecom equipment manufacturers who face fierce competition to reflect on how to provide their service. Chapter three describes the operation of the telecom operators and their concerns, and induces the necessity for equipment manufacturers to adjust their service strategy. Chapter four lists some typical telecom equipment manufacturers at home and abroad, studies their service strategy, point out the vantages of foreign manufacturers in their service system, then summarizes the current state of Chinese telecom equipment manufacturers and figure out what we can learn from foreign manufacturers to improve our service system. Chapter five, on base of the above research and the theory of customer's loyalty, makes five suggestions in this subject.
