Railway Transportation Comprehensive Metrology Management Information System Research And Design

With China's accession to WTO, the metrology is brought in line with international practice, and the National standards are also brought in line with international practice. National norms are revised continuously and Certified-metrology-Engineer system is carried out. Meanwhile, with the 6th 'railway speed increase' carried into execution, with the rapid progress in technology and equipment of railway transport enterprise and with the organizational reform in railway transport enterprise carried into execution, the Management pattern, Management scope, Management content and Work flow of metrology work have changed obviously. All of these changes demand for development of Railway metrology management system from equipment management to comprehensive management which including metrology equipment status management, metrology standard information management, metrology personnel management, metrology surveillance management, metrology examination/calibration management and metrology comprehensive information management.In this paper, the design, development and application process in metrology management information system are discussed based on the analyze on total system requirement. The mathematical model of metrology management information system has been build up, the appropriate Data accessing technology has been selected, and the system function has been consummated on system data input/output, management, statistics and inquiry. Take the metrology management information system in Jinan railway metrology station as the example; the actual processes of design and carry out are introduced in detail.
