Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRPII) and producing Just in Time (JIT) are both widely used advanced production-management methods in manufacture enterprises at present. It's quite important for how to combine them by using their advantages plentifully to achieve better results in manufacture and management. This article firstly describes MRPII and JIT on their history, development, background, composition and control procedure, run system as well as characteristic function and makes complete contra-analysis with study on features and applicable range of two management methods, then presents mixed use of MRPII and JIT with its main characteristics. This article emphasizes MRPII/JIT mixed use thoughts in application of manufacturing planning management. Mainly start with equipment layout modification, production planning adjustment, warehouse management improvement, to adapt with this new production management method. Considering equipment layout role and the adoption range for different layout, to reorganize equipment layout. Utilizing Linear Programming to rearrange current planning, finally during the process of MRPII/JIT intergradations, changing to daily planning,JIT supplier delivery, warehouse ABC management and quickly process for urgent materials, and adapting new advanced method to achieve better results by combining TWVC current condition, and point out continuously improvement while the condition is more mature. This article research shows MRPII/JIT intergradations is an advanced method especially for multiple species and repetitive production of machining enterprises. Its application is useful to finalize production-planning accuracy and stock controlling, to ensure production achieving the goal of the lowest cost, on time production and delivery.
