Study On Risk Management Of Enterprise Logistics Outsourcing

With the increasing diversification and personalization of consumer's demand, the competition of global market is aggravating gradually. Logistics, as the third profit headspring of enterprise, is becoming the optimal choice of enterprise outsourcing. Logistics outsourcing is the effective operating model to optimizing the resources of enterprise and improving the core competence of enterprise. But the utilization ratio of the third party logistics (3PL) in China was still not satisfied with less than thirty percent. Because of the existence of the logistics outsourcing risk, a lot of enterprises are inclined to construct their own logistics, which not only results in the waste of human resources and capital but also hinders the further development of the third party logistics market. So it is very necessary and imperative for the enterprises to research the risks of logistics outsourcing and the way to avoid it.By means of the relevant theories of risk management, information economics and the fuzzy mathematics et al., this article researches systematically into enterprise logistics outsourcing and prevention of its risks. Firstly, the definition of risk management of logistics outsourcing is defined and the risk management procedure of logistics outsourcing is put forward as well as the significance of risk management to logistics outsourcing. Secondly, the theoretical foundation, the morphological description and the mechanism of outsourcing risk are analyzed. Thirdly, the evaluation model is suggested to evaluate the outsourcing risk by using the method of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. Finally, on the basis of the discussions in the above chapters, the risk prevention system of logistics outsourcing is constructed and some measures and suggestions about the management of logistics outsourcing are put forward.This paper will give a help to the enterprises for a more objective and comprehensive understanding of logistics outsourcing risk. The enterprises should adopt the logistics outsourcing to serve themselves instead of taking a passive attitude to avoid it. Meanwhile, they should take the effective measures to prevent the following risks in order to carry out the aim of improving the core competence of enterprises.
