Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasures For The Risk Management Of Construction Bank

Banks are the special enterprises for operating risks. In the modern commercial bank management theory, the ability of risk management becomes the standard for measuring the core competitiveness of a commercial bank. CCB is the first domestic listed bank in the state-owned commercial banks. Like the other state-owned commercial banks, it has experienced dramatic transformation from extensive management to intensive management. After CCB completed the shareholding reform and successfully listed in Hong Kong, the promotion of the risk management capability becomes the key to achieve the strategic goal of"the most creative world-class modern commercial bank". In order to comprehensively understand the present situation and analyze the existing problems and deficiencies of the construction bank risk management, the paper begins with the evolution of the commercial bank risk management theory, comprehensively analyzes the New Basel Capital Accords and the present situation of construction bank, then finds out the disparity and the idea of solving the problems. The paper focuses on constructing the comprehensive risk management system, building operational risk management framework, accelerating the construction of the internal ratings-based approach and improving the economic capital measurement. The paper tries to offer more valuable reference and help for the construction of bank risk management reform.
