| Demand side management (DSM) is an advanced scientific management method, successful experience of the development and application of the methodology in country and abroad has been introduced in the paper. Based on the historical data and the load forecasting of 2006 in Chaoyang District with the software MATLAB, the power market status, the characteristics, and trends of every calling respectively are analyzed. Then the existing transfer potential of Chaoyang District is analyzed, the result show that the DSM is realistic and doable. Based on the main characteristics of the demand for electricity of Chaoyang District, implementation of DSM measures from technology, technological innovation, economic aspects are put forward, and main management measures of electricity consumption of the third industry and denizen are analyzed. Finally, cost-benefit methods of DSM are discussed, which are respectively applied in four aspects: the power grid companies, power generation side, users who participate in, and the social sectors. |
