This paper takes A private enterprise group as the research object, with performance management theory as the theoretical foundation, and does research of the performance evaluation of professional managers of the subsidiary of private enterprise groups from the business owner's point of view by means of AHP and objectives management. Firstly, this paper expounded the status of the performance evaluation on China's enterprise group subsidiary of professional managers. Secondly, this paper introduces therelated theories--BSC,KPI and AHP. Then, on the basis of the results ofinvestigations and interviews analysis in A private group, this paper evaluates the performance of professional managers from the financial dimensions, the customer dimension, the internal process dimension and the learning and growth dimension, and establishes a performance appraisal system of professional managers in A private enterprise. Specifically, this paper takes a professional manager of a subsidiary of A private group as an example to design the appraisal system, including using Delphi method screening key performance indicators and AHP to determining weights of all the indicators. Finally, this paper makes suggestions to guarantee the successful implementation of building the professional managerial performance appraisal system and doing evaluation of A private enterprise group.
