Studies On Container Multimodal Transport Logistics System

Container multimodal transport is an advanced form of transport organizing, and it is the developing trend of freightage. In the outline of the eleventh five-year plan for national economic and social development, it was definitely put forward that the connections of different transportation means to carry out continuous connections should be strengthened. It brought forward a higher request for the container transport organization. In recent years, along with shipping market's furious competition, the omni-directional modern logistics will become the inevitable trend of multimodal transport development which will give the multimodal transport the new transformation. Therefore, on the basis of the achievements of this field, the thesis systematically discussed the theory and methods of the continuous connections of multimodal transport logistics system.It introduces the definition, organization form and merit of international container multimodal transport, and analyses the sameness and difference between multimodal transport and modern logistics, and discusses integrative development of the two and brings forward some development suggestion.It discusses the concept, the formation and the infection factors of continuous connections of container multimodal transport logistics system. It was indicated that containerization, multimodal transport and logistics technology is the foundation of the formation and development of continuous connections and continuous connections is the assurance of logistics system running effectively. And it was pointed out that the infection factors of container continuous connections include administer system, operation flow, basic establishments, transport infrastructure system, and so on. It researches on the approach to achieve continuous connections of container multimodal transport logistics system. Based on the idea of continuous connections the paper discusses the container transport choosing route problem. It combines the appropriate adimensionalize method in the appraisement method and mathematic model and resolves the problem that the unit of time and cost disunite and sets up the time-cost transportation route optimizing model which is an innovation on the basis of previous studies and gives an example to validate the model using the LINDO software.It introduces the EDI application status in quo and superiority in the multimodal transport logistics system and studies the EDI information platform macro analysis and designs and propose the factors which should be considered in the building process, and then introduces the important roles which the transportation management subsystem, the vehicles operational management system and information communication platform play in the multimodal transport and logistics enterprises.
