Strategic for Combining Coal Industry, Electronic Industry and Transportation (herein after referred to as the SCCET) could be the guarantee of not only the output of coal, but also the coal demand of power station, as well as the demand of ship companies, especially the demand of volume shipment of such ship companies who mainly operate the coal's shipment in bulk, whilst it could also establish the risk share among the relevant parties, such as mines, power stations, ship-owners, ports, railways, etc., in order to reduce the individual risk.In SCCET, the transportation can connect the two others as a bridge, among which the water transportation must be the most important one as it is a great influence to the efficiency of SCCET that whether the transportation capability is enough. According to the expected visibility on market share, ship companies can implement their Enlarging Transportation Capability Plans, which is basing on ship-building as a long term investment and ship-renting as a supplement as well as the second-hand ship-buying. After the new-building ship launching, they can use the adjustment on the amount of renting ships and second-hand ships to achieve the balance between transportation capability and transportation quantity, according to market.In such a market circumstance that the competition is getting more and more intense, it will be the dominant strategic on companies'survival and development that to establish a strategic-combined cooperation as the competition-combined and strategic-combined cooperation would become the leadership. Therefore, studying on SCCET and decision of water transportation has a very important significance on both academic research and reality.The chief studies of this article are as follows:Chapter I: GeneralIt is an introduction about the significance, purpose and direction of studying SCCET, as well as the general framework of this article. Chapter II: Conception of SCCETIt explains the primary conception of the combined strategic and SCCET via different views, e.g. strategic management, strategic analysis and so on, in order to set up a basis for consequent studying.Enterprise Strategic Management is for companies to use their various resources, such as personnel, fortune and products, etc., under a macro-lay to optimize the management and enhance the economic benefit. Its advantages are high-level, integrity and dynamic.Strategic Analysis is a general perspective constituted by the key influence facts to ensure that the enterprise could be in a good state now and in the future. It can do better for plotting the enterprise strategic and actualizing the growth strategic of company. Simply speaking, so-called Combined Strategic is to make the integral benefit of multiple enterprises larger than the sum of subsidiaries'benefit though their cooperation, which is always known as"2+2=5". Studying significance of SCCET is basing on the steady development of Heat & Electrical Industry and the multiple development of transportation companies.Chapter III: Analysis on status of coal-supply and coal-demand for generating electricity in China.The status of coal industry in China in present: the demand of coal is growing and the quantity of coal needed to be transported is increasing, the consumption of coal for generating electricity is also going up while the store of such coal is going down rapidly. The price of coal is continue to be rising.The status of electrical industry in China in present: the volume of generating electricity machine is increasing gradually and the main method of generating electricity is still fire in electrical industry. Coefficient of elasticity on electricity consumption lasts to be more than one.The above analysis points out several main reasons that influence the coal-supply and coal-demand for generating electricity, among which the transportation must be the key fact influencing both of them. It could be made into conclusion that it is the most suitable transportation way needed by SCCET that making the water transportation as the main body and the high-way transportation as the secondary one, as well as the railway. It gives out a further analysis on the problems of water transportation concluding short of transportation capability, waste of transportation capability and irregular dates of ships, among which the first one is the core problem. The whole other problems will be settled, if the scale of transportation capability could fit or closes with the demand of the coal transportation for generating electricity.Chapter IV: Analysis on decision of water transportation under SCCET.It compares the three transportation concluding high-way, railway and water via different aspects, e.g. the quantity of cargoes, the speed of transportation, the distance, the cost, the affection on environment and internet resource, etc., which could approves the advantage of water transportation on the field of coal transportation for generating electricity. By way of the description on necessity of water transportation, it can further verify the conclusion on the needed transportation way of SCCET in Chapter III. It makes a further analysis on the status of water transportation of China, i.e. the serious lack of transportation capability, which seems to be an obstacle for exerting the efficiency of SCCET in a certain degree. It takes Y Company as an example to explain how to solve the lack of transportation capability by using the ship-building as a long term investment and ship-renting as a supplement as well as the second-hand ship-buying.Chapter V: The outcomes of study point out that the transportation capability will be relayed adequately, the efficiency of SCCET will be exerted fully and the supply-demand of coal for generating electricity will be steadier.Because of the limitation of time and researching data, this article remains some problems that should be solved in the further study as follows:The enlarging capacity of railways and the raising speed of trains expedite the floating speed of coal from mine to launching port. It may make serious problems for store of launching port and the efficiency of shipment facilities, if the increasing of transportation capability is not enough. Under the circumstance of the highest efficiency of shipment facility, coal will be easily overstocked in port.The development of modern port will lead the scale of port to be enlarged and the shipment efficiency to be increased, which may heavily reduce the waiting time of ship for berth and raise the turnover rate of ship.It will influence the exerting of SCCET efficiency that if the increasing speeds of output of coal, volume of power station machine and scale of transportation capability can be the same or approximate to be the same.
