The Research Of Yanfeng Group For Lean Production And JIT

This thesis analyzes the concept of lean manufacturing and JIT method and gives the main theory points of lean manufacturing. With the actual problems in the automobile manufacturing, this thesis gives the guide for how to introduce the lean concept to actual production management of automobile manufacturing companies.There are 4 parts:Part one gives the background of lean manufacturing concept. It introduces the lean concept from the TOYOTA lean concept and then gives the development path for lean manufacturing concept. Then this thesis also introduces the JIT concept which is developed from lean manufacturing concept. After that, this thesis also gives some focus with lean manufacturing concept and JIT concept in actual manufacturing companies and how to make these concepts effectively.Part two first introduces background of YF-Vieston and the problems that YF-Vieston faced before applied lean manufacturing concept and JIT concept. After that, this thesis gives the actual actions that YF-Vieston used to apply the lean manufacturing, such as Quality Management based on PPM and AUDIT method and KANBAN method in the actual production management.Part 3 gives the conclusion of applying lean manufacturing concept in YF-Vieston when writer attended this project. This thesis gives the suggestion that other automobile part manufacturing companies can refer from this successful case.Part 4 on the high level give the advantage of applying lean manufacturing concept in automobile manufacturing part company and how to apply lean concept in some more abroad management area.
