On The System Of Integrated Management For Municipal Solid Waste In Wuxi New District

The emergence of economic development zones has made many contributions to the local economic development indeed, however, there are also many problems going with it. One of these problems is the increase of the urban solid waste. Urban solid waste refers to the solid waste produced by the city life or the activities that provide service for the city life, and the solid waste regarded as urban solid waste by law and administrative regulations .The urban waste is complex, and its components can be influenced by the time and the season. It would do tremendous damages to our environment if it was not properly treated. Because of the lack of management means, people can do less to the accumulation of the urban solid waste, therefore, many cities become garbage besieged cities, especially in some medium and small cities. It has done many damages to the suburban environment.This paper analyses the emergence, handed status, managed status and the problems of the solid waste in Wuxi New District. Based on this, this paper provides an integrated management system suitable for Wuxi New District, including integrated management strategy, garbage disposal methods, integrated management countermeasures. According to the specific circumstances of Wuxi New District, this paper also uses AHP to evaluate the garbage disposal methods and offers a scientific analysis for configuring the optimal mode of the integrated management of urban solid waste in Wuxi New District.
