Project Management Application Research For Sangfei's ODM

During the knowledge-economy times , OEM is taking risker of development than ODM which has more profit room and it is positive option of OEM to get reborn and do challenge. Facing the continuous innovating electronic product market, the instant input of new product to occupy market is necessary. On the other hand, we have to control the risk well since the invest capital for new product is always a big number. Based on current status it's difficult to control those variants if we only use traditional operation management method. But new management theory of modern project management, one important portion of management, is more value with practical operation to handling those kinds of complex activities with time and resource limited as well as cost problem.Firstly, the development of OEM and ODM after innovation-open is introduced with the view that ODM is OEM's result as well as there show us the development of project management and the importance of project management in electronic manufacturing. Secondly, the company Sangfei is presented with the mention of product manufacture chart and project organization chart. Then, scope management, time management, cost management, quality management and risk management are identified how to be used in ODM manufacture through the practical project which also show us the practical manufacture model. Finally the analysis of practical project is done combining with the theory of project management so that the practical model is clearer. In addition, the author point out proposal of problem that is foundation of continuous research.This research is meaningful of Sangfei to improve project management and it can be as reference and use by electronic manufacture especially for those are large-sized enterprises that are in rapidly developing.
