The Research Of HT(Shanghai) For Supply Management Strategy Based On SCM

With the development of economic globalization as well as market internationalization, enterprises are facing a big change of competition environment. The market competition is transferring from products and service to culture, technology, brand as well. Competition within enterprises is upgrading to a new one existing in groups as well as in supply chain. More and more multinational company invest manufacture base in China, the fastest economic growth area in the world, to reduce production cost, enhance or keep their competence. It's the chief task for company to ensure their procurement is delivery-on time, price-competitive but quality-conforming, especially for assembly company like HT, most of whose raw material have to be provided by supplier. Traditional procurement can't meet production any more and need to be redesigned and improved based on the theory of supply chain management.Guided by SCM theory, the thesis take HT company as a case, focus on purchasing section of supply chain, deeply analyze and study the issue of supply management like components sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation as well. Then it comes up with the substantial opinion and suggestion for HT, which also benefits other similar company for reference.The thesis consists of six charters. The 1^st charter is the foreword of the whole article. The concept, the change of supply management is mainly introduced in the 2^nd charter. The 3^rd charter is the study of the character and role of modern supply management under SCM environment. The 3^rd charter is the introduction of supply management situation, specially existing problem in HT. In 4^th charter, focusing on supply management field, components purchasing issue and supplier selection & evaluation issue of HT are diagnosed. And corresponding solution are recommended by author based on the concerning theory of SCM. The final part is the summary and conclusion of the entire thesis.
