The core position and function of skilled worker sticks out increasingly in modern manufacturing enterprises. However, a serous lack of skilled workers resources and promoting their efficiency is one of the universality bottleneck problems for these manufacturing enterprises facing recent years.The performance appraisal researches on skilled worker team of manufacturing enterprises are rare to be reported so far. This papertakes off one of manufacturing enterprises in which engages war industry——HTCompany as a skilled worker team performance appraisal research sample.The researches and practice trends of performance appraisal and performance appraisal of skilled worker team were researched and summarized firstly; Then, the paper investigates and describes the present condition of skilled worker team's performance of HT Company, analyzes and mentions such main problems as "the purpose of appraisal is not reasonable", "performance appraisal's standards are not explicit", "performance appraisal's methods and evaluators are not selected correctly"and so on. On the basis of analysis to the reasons of the problems above, the system performance appraisal of skilled worker team of HT Company was designed by making sure the performance appraisal's principles and purposes, the appraisal indexes,evaluate standards and performance evaluators etc. Many methods and tools, such as MBO, BARS, AHP, the Full-circle Appraisal and the FUZZY THEORY, were applied mainly; And it explores supplementary measures of the system in the end.The reseaches on the the performance appraisal indexes structre of skilled worker fully team of the paper embodys the combination of theory and practice, and it has depth andinnovation to a certain extent——Exploring the performance appraisal dimensions ofskilled worker team of HT Company through using a Client-Relation Chart method, establishing skilled worker team's performance appraisal indexes by aid of the DELPHI and the Key Behavior Events menthods, and drafting the attitudes and behavior performance appraisal indexes of skilled worker by using a Competency Assessment Model. The result of the researches has the reference value both for the improvement of the skilled worker team performance appraisal system of HT Company and for other manufacturing enterprises to establish their performance appraisal systems of skilled worker team.
