The article use the marketing research and the cost analysis as the main way to analysis the R&D of ice cream , Confirm the mode that the domestic ice cream factories choosing and developing the new products is according to the information of market investigation as the first foundation , combining the ideas of the engineers from R&D and the instances of the equipments in the factory secondly ,and finally making design by the new products jury deciding new products' expecting sale price according to the corresponding market and the season ,and designing the formula and processing of the new products, according to the backing to the every ton raw material cost , than to do the samples testing and modify it in time by Penalty analytical method ,finally manufacturing in scale after distributors' testing on a small scale. A ice cream factory use the new mode to develop new product, the count of the new product that developed had been lowed 33.3%,however , the percent of the success proved to 50.5% ,the effect of the new mode is obviously . The new mode provide the new products R&D way for the domestic ice cream manufacturer, so that the manufacturer can provide the new products that can meet the consumers' demands ,meanwhile improve the market succeeds of the new products ,make the resources less waste.The new mode of R&D the ice cream according to the following 8 steps,To decide the new products that will be researched and developed, according to market demands, manufacturing machines and the sale seasons now.To decide the projects researched and developed, according to the products information collected and ideas from the R&D engineers.To calculate the total cost of the new products, so that deciding the expecting sale price of it.Firstly to design the formula and processing of the new products, according to the expecting sale price backing to the products cost.To design and do experiments to make the ice cream samples.To do the samples testing and modify it.To sell the new products , testing the reactions between the retailer and consumers.To manufacture in scale,then sell it.
