The Study Of Logistics Capability Based On The Type Of Supply Chain

Along with the more furious global competition, the competition between enterprises has translated into competition between supply chains; the attention and study focused on enterprise logistics capability have extended to supply chain. Under the new competition environment, supply chain need use logistics resource better to coordinate manufacture and market activity which are disperse in geography, furthermore in order to obtain and maintain competition advantage, must let the logistics capability which was formed by logistics resource becomes the key for supply chain to operate high efficiently.This article studies the relation between supply chain logistics capability and the type of supply chain. It analyzes the logistics capability factors from supply chain perspective and identifies the key logistics capability factors which determine supply chain performance based on different types of supply chain. It also studies the method of supply chain logistics capability accounting.This article firstly reviews research literatures on empirical study of the relation between logistics capability and enterprise performance, and two types of supply chain based on product demand characteristic, efficient supply chain and responsive supply chain. Questionnaires sampling in mainland China and factor analysis and regression analysis in SPSS Software were used to analyze the relation between logistics capability factors and supply chain performance based on two types of industry, and identifies the important logistics capability factors to supply chain performance of each type of industry.Secondly studies quantitative method of logistics capability accounting from the view of supply chain. A model was constructed for supply chain logistics capability accounting based on automobile industry supply chain, restriction on logistics capability accounting are supply chain node and route capability and logistics capability accounting falls into three phases which are supply logistics, production logistics and distribution logistics. Educes supply chain logistics capability which was denoted by product quantity flowing out supply chain in unit time.Finally brings forward two basic principles for optimizing supply chain logistics capability, the first is identifying and eliminating bottle-neck and gives quantitative method of identifying bottle-neck at the same time, the second is keeping consistency of logistics capability throughout the whole supply chain.
