T.T.Schultz,the Nobel prize winner, break through the cord of traditional concept that capital only consist of material resource such as factory and machinery. He believed that only the human resource is the"spring of wealth"in the area and the country. With the development of market economy, human resource as a most active productive factor have a more outstanding position in the enterprise management which is gradually accepted by us as a concept.Management of human resource is the core of the modern management, all the management is based on the enthusiasm and creativity of the human .To mobilize the human enthusiasm is a constant theme of human resource management. How can we use an motivation mechanism to fully mobilize the enthusiasm and go-aheadism of the enterprise staff ? How can we effectively develop and manage the human resource ? The author will have perspective from a familiar angle and base on the MBA management theory to talk about the motivation mechanism of the human resource in the postal service enterprise.This article illustrated the meaning of motivation to the human resource management and introduced the definition and relevant theory of motivation,and described the importance of establishment an effective motivation mechanism combined with practice of the postal enterprise, and analyzed the internal and external environment of the postal human resource management in details. After that, author also combined the following four aspects,i.e _salary motivation, professional promotion, process motivation, material and spirit ,to describe the present situation of Yichang postal motivation mechanism and combined the relevant motivation theory to analyze the existing problem of Yichang postal motivation mechanism.Afterwards, combined present Yichang postal motivation mechanism application and existing problem to describe the author's views on establishing a postal motivation mechanism suitable to Yichang by observation and visiting from four aspects: salary design, business achievement promotion, comprehensive motivation, strengthening non-contract staff motivation, improving achievement and efficiency.Finally, posed out the next research direction according to the existing problem in the research.
