Study On Project Management In The Medium And Small Scaled IT Enterprises

The project management has developed many management theories and the methods, and they have made the very good practice progress. As a new emerging profession, IT industry accepts much new thoughts and the new technology at present and it has many differences compared with the traditional profession, it lacks the modern management theory and the method relatively and urgently awaits to solve. Therefore, the paper has carried on the application research of the medium and small IT enterprises in view of their characteristic based on wide collection of management theories and methods. The research work and the achievement are as follows:Firstly the paper has summarized the project management theory and the application situation in It enterprise and analyzed the present situation and the trend of development of the medium and small IT enterprise's project management, and proposed the problem awaiting to solve in the medium and small IT enterprises project management and this article studying content. Combined with IT enterprise project research and development characteristic, the paper takes "Vehicle Parameter Database" (hereinafter referred to as "Database") project as researching object, separately carries on the analysis and the application research of the project preliminary market investigation and study, the project plan and the controlled process, project risk management, project quality management, project cost management according to the project management's implementation process and the theory method.The research results include: Using the market investigation and study's method, the reasonable project investigation and study plan have been worked out and it played the positive role for the success of project development; the project plan and the control work have been analyzed and Work Breakdown Structure(WBS) has been carried on, and the project implementation responsibility matrix has been established and web plan has been worked out and the project key path has been put forth definitely. In addition, the study of project quality control method has been carried on for the quality management and the paper has studied and proposed the project IT project risk management technology and the method which are suitable in "Database" by RAC, they played vital role in the successful implementation of the medium and small IT enterprises project management. In brief, around the various important field of the medium and small IT enterprises project management, through full and accurate content, and full data and integrated structure, the paper carried on the full study that the modern project management theory and method applied in the medium and small IT enterprise project management based on "Database" project, it is the exploration which the theory and the practice unified and has obtained much creative and practical achievement, and the studied results have certain theory value and it can provide valuable reference for the medium and small IT enterprises project management.
