A company belongs to B group company. A company was established in 1982, because B group company makes diversification strategy at that time. As OEM & ODM provider in PC industry, A company co-works with global famous PC companies on product design, development, manufacturing. In 90's, A company adopted low cost competition strategy, moved their manufacturing base from Taiwan to Mainland, created 10 years'glory. In 2000, A company set up a research center in Shanghai, but the investment couldn't contribute to its PC business. In these years, PC entered into mature period, the profit started to decrease, the competition enhanced. A company was plunged into embarrassed status. The paper attempts to study A company's competition strategy, guide the company to make good use of its strength, hold the opportunity, avoid competition risk, improve its competition situation.Having studied A company's embarrassed situation, some problems were found in A company's original strategy by using competition strategy theory. According to PC product's character, the paper concludes A company should choose enterprise client as target customer when transferring into brand PC vendor. After the analysis of IT service's status and the strength and weakness of A company, the paper brings forward A company's competition strategy in China, plans how to carry IT into execution and finally forecasts its financial result, some risks and plans how to control these risks.
