Research On The Current Situation And Relevant Countermeasures Of Fujian And Taiwan's High-tech Industry Cooperation

The development of high-tech industry plays a decisive role in strengthening the national and regional overall power as well as scientific power. The cooperation between the high-tech industries in Fujian and Taiwan has in recent years made a great achievement. However, some inevitable problems remain. It's very significant to the sustainable development of high-tech industry to conduct a deep investigation and find out the solution. This paper adopts mainly the comparative analysis research approach, combining with quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, positive analysis and normative analysis. By drawing lessons from past academic researches, investigating relevant theories of high-tech, high-tech industry and regional divisions, the thesis points out the different factors endowment of high-tech industries in the two places. If Fujian and Taiwan can strengthen their mutual supplement with each other's advantages to engage in the high-tech industry cooperation and obtain the conditions needed to keep the advantage of the regional high-tech industry competition form it, the two places will improve their welfare levels. On this basis, this paper explains the necessity to strengthen the high-tech industry cooperation of Fujian-Taiwan area.
