A Study On The Exchange And Cooperation Of The Tourist Industry Of Fujian And Taiwan From2001to2010

In recent years, tourism, as a special medium, play a more and more important role in cross-straits exchanges and cooperation with the development of the cross-straits relation. Fujian province is at the forefront of the exchanges with Taiwan. It is a basic requirement to develop the cooperation of the tourist industry of Fujian and Taiwan for the development of cross-straits relation in an all-around way. Look back on the past, the cooperation of the tourist industry of Fujian and Taiwan has been developing rapidly, but there are many problems at the same time. A research on the history of the relationship between Fujian and Taiwan’s tourist industry is not only a summary of the past but also can predict the tendency of the cooperation in the future. For these reasons, this paper tries to analyze the basic characteristic, communicating experience and the law of development of the cooperation of Fujian and Taiwan’s tourist industry from the point of view of connection, development and dialectics.The study focus on the period of2001to2010.It was started from the beginning of "mini three links" and ended with the allowance of visiting Taiwan as individuals. This period of time witness the cooperative process of the tourist industry of Fujian and Taiwan. It is a process of developing from part of area to whole area, from nongovernmental to official, from small scale communication to multi-fields cooperation. This paper is started with the review of the cooperation before2001. Against this background I will study the circumstances from2001to2010in chronological order and then analyze the characteristic, problems and solutions of the cooperation of the ten years for to guide the future development. I hope these will be of benefit to realize the complementary advantages and sharing of resources and enhance the brand value of "cross-strait tourism". At last, it will promote the all-round cooperation of Fujian and Taiwan’s tourist industry and make contributions to the reunification between the two sides.
