According to the needs of society and development trend of technology, select the latent strategic leading industries which have comparative advantage has great significance for economy development.Currently, the economic development face a rigorous pressure from industrial structure upgrading, the dominant route of industrial structure upgrading is supporting the conversion of leading industries. In this process, the growth of latent strategic leading industries is a important way which make the conversion smoothly. Latent strategic leading industries bring fresh blood for economy development continuously, promote the industrial structure more reasonable, it is a leading industry or pillar industry in future. As for Hubei province, select the latent strategic leading industries which promote industrial structure upgrading and adapt to the development of regional economy, has important significance to the nation and Hubei province.The study about new industries, latent strategic leading industries and leading industry never stopped. but most of them construct the evaluation index system based on existing industry categorized, can't reflect the latent strategic technique or industries this period. As we know, the development of strategic industry has a process, perhaps leading industry or pillar industry in future is only a technique concept or new product in present. So these studies can't select the latent industries successfully.This thesis reviews some concepts including new industries, latent strategic leading industries and leading industries. The conversion of latent strategic leading industries is one of the new industries which drives the breakthrough of national or regional economic growth, and plays a positive, long-term, overall role, self-owned intellectual property rights, and may growth into leading industries or pillar industries during a certain stage of economic development. This thesis gave out the list of latent strategic leading industries after analyze the pull power and the push power for industries growth, constructed the evaluation index system of regional latent strategic leading industries. According to the target constituted an expert group which comes from enterprise, government and university, selected the current latent strategic leading industries in Hubei province by Delphi inquisition. |
