Enters 21st century, people gradually realize the knowledge is important to the corporation development. With the rapid growth of science technology, The growth of economy depends more on the development and use of knowledge than on the addition of physical assets. With the arrival of the era of knowledge-based economy, corporations are now confronted with many new challenges as the result of rapid knowledge upgrading, intense competition and the change of circumstances and the development of organizations. How corporations of our country to open and form their own core competence becomes task of top priority.This article thinks that there is a certain inherent positive connection between the core competence of corporation and knowledge. The author combines the nature of knowledge, has done the dependent analysis of knowledge to the core competence of corporation, it is the knowledge that corporations have in essence to draw the core competence of corporation. Thus validate the theme of "corporation knowledge is the source of core competence". Every corporation is an aggregation of the special knowledge, which is unique and unable to being imitated, and can not be bought from outside market. The knowledge structure formed by current knowledge existing in the corporation determines the chances of corporation in future and the ways distributed resources. The cognitive ability related with corporation knowledge determines its accumulation in the corporation, thus determines the competition advantage of the corporation.It is through the median mechanism that knowledge transforms to the core competence of corporation. The substantial ways to realize knowledge shared and transference are person learning and organization learning. In the corporation background, core competence transforms the resources into work routine, then integrates corporation tradition into all kinds of abilities through personal learning and organization learning, and form core competence finally. During the shaping of core competence, knowledge "conformity and coordination" exert an important role. In the end, this article has exactly made a deeper analysis to the upgrading of the core competence of corporation in the terms of knowledge, and has told the relations between knowledge collecting sharing and innovating. According to above discuss, to develop the knowledge-based core competence of corporation, firstly the corporation should absorb knowledge extensively including inner and outer corporation; secondly the corporation should take some measures as strengthen knowledge communication and realize knowledge sharing ect.
