Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is a kind of fashionable advanced enterprise management style in the world in 1990s. Thinking deeply again, improving and redesigning in processes of enterprise, thus make the key indexes with characteristic of the time, cost, quality, service and reaction speed, etc. get and improve enormously. Just because this means have the ability that can improve enterprises' processes efficiency and meet the demands that the customers' and markets' fast changes, BPR have become the important means to improve enterprise's competitive power more and more. The tide of the global economy leads to a more competitive environments for enterprises, so BPR has been regarded as a necessary tool to raise the competition. At present, BPR has already been accepted by most enterprises in our country. In the practice of BPR, the demand of building software tools to improve the efficiency of BPR is becoming more and more urgent in the areas of manufacture.At first, this paper has made analysis deeply in the realistic meaning of developing the system of Computer Aided Business Process Reengineering in the Manufacturing Industry, and the meaning of studying this system is explained from three aspects: the urgency, the necessity and the exploratory of developing the system. Then further investigate the theory of BPR and its technology, analyze the overall processes of the whole state and products of the manufacturing industry in our country, and structure out tentatively the systematic model of Computer Aided Business Process Reengineering in the Manufacturing Industry, and develop the design of the system. Then regarding a concrete instance in coal machinery manufacturing industry as the target, realize tentatively some functions of the system model. The main purpose of this paper is to explore one tool of computer aided BPR to suit the actual conditions of the manufacturing industry in our country, replacing the complicated the work by hand of the past with the computer to raise the efficiency and accuracy and achieve the goal of reducing labor intensity. In this paper, I name the system creatively Computer Aided Business Process Reengineering.The most important part in this paper is the systematic model, the development of the design of the system and realization some functions of the systems based on the instance.Taking the manufacturing industry as the research scope and production business process as the research object, the paper gives the whole systematic model of developing and try to implement some functions of the system, popularizing fromproduction business processes to the whole business procedure. Aiming at exploring one technological platform where Business Process Reengineering offers help for enterprises, popularize the technology of BPR in enterprises to raise the efficiency and quality of BPR in enterprises of the manufacturing industry.
