Research Of ERP System Implementation In A Power Equipment Works

The 21th century is the age of information.For the globe economic unification and immense increase of information,all enterprises have been forced to choose the way of information management.ERP software system,being used now in enterprises,has already become an important measure to remake enterprises'management medium and to realize enterprises'information management for promoting enterprises'core competition.This paper studied A electric power equipment factory from its existent problems, challenges and informational demands. After two years'ERP implementation and application research, we rebuild and optimized the core operation flow by the implementation of ERP software system. Based on the comparison of core operation flow before and after business process reengineering, this paper studied the effect of the improvement, including management application analysis and the value improvement aroused by key performance index. Then the paper studied the management process of ERP project implementation by using the project management theory and put forward successful methods of ERP project implementation according to the scientifical methodology of implementation, finally proposed implementation risk of ERP projects and its solutions.Aim of the article is:aim at failure of some Chinese enterprises'developing ERP and try to give some suggestion to avoid the failure. This paper is targeting the above task and carefully making investigations and research in accordance with APEW's practical. After that, it puts forward corresponding counter measures and ideas for the guidance of APEW ERP application practice, domestic manufacturers and other ERP implementation enterprise for reference.
