Study On Layout Planning Of City Retailing Logistics Distribution Centers Based On GIS

In 21st century, retail is playing a principal role in supply chain, making a great impact on economic development and our life. Following foreign experience, retail in china also made progress, and it is becoming a vital impetus to economic development. Meanwhile, the importance of logistics as"the third source of profit"is revealed. Retail companies began to reform their logistics system.For a city, the relationship of development of the retail trade and distribution center is closer. Develops increasingly along with the market economy, the city retail trade also develops immediately strong. On the one hand, the new business nets order to increase continuously, need to go together with to send to more centers to serve for it, but some centers are can't satisfy with the business nets'demands in scale and capacity; on the other hand, because long-term planning and developing emphasis is changing and region business property is weakened and business net number is reduced. The present distribution center can not reach fixed work load and must be canceled and conformed. In this kind of situation, it's essential and feasible that putting forward the proposal about distribution center's layout based on GIS in view of city.This article shows present situation of the city distribution center's layout and the city distribution center's layout general principle and method. Finally, the Author unifies Dalian city special details and adjusts distribution center's layout by using MapInfo and ArcView platform in order to providing the reference for practical work.
