Since economy all over the world needs further development and international organizations advocate to protect environment and sustainable development, environmental management has became an important aspect of companies developing and enlarging. At the same time, companies are actively integrating their supply chain processes to lower costs, increasing core competence and better serve customers. These two trends combine to environmental supply chain management (ESCM).At present, studies of ESCM field focus mostly on the relevant concepts, contents, relationship between ESCM and company performance, evaluating and modeling subsystem of ESC, but few quantitative studies concentrate on the model design and build. ESC is a complex and huge system engineering, so it is necessary to discuss the component, framework and interrelation of ESC in order to supply apocalypse for implementing ESCM successfully. Therefore, on the basis of consulting a large amount of foreign literatures, this paper study on the system dynamics and Mix-integer plan models for ESC.On the stage of theory summarization, the paper introduces the connotation of ESC firstly. Next, the"X"model of ESC is built on the basis of company integrated"X"mode of traditional supply chain management, at the same time, the characteristics of"X"model is analyzed. Finally, the paper builds conceptual model of ESC which divides ESC system into five management subsystems including manufacturing, consuming, collecting back, environment and society. Then, the content and framework of every subsystem are analyzed.In the phase of designing system dynamics model, firstly, the paper sets forth purpose of building model and system boundaries of ESC, and builds casual loop diagram of ESC in order to analyze relation and effect between relevant entities in the system. Secondly, the paper adopts professional software Powersim2005 to build flow diagram of ESC, and lists mathematical relationship between each variable. Finally, the paper simulates the model and obtains some results that can provide theory basis for companies deciding to carry out ESCM or not.Basing on that, the paper uses Mix-integer plan method to build ESC's optimization model which contains several entities such as supplies, manufacturers, retailers, consumers and remanufacturers. The model views profit maximization of manufacture centers, sales centers and remanufacture centers as objective function. The model also contains a series of constraint conditions. Finally, to verify the feasibility and practicability of the MIP model, the paper looks MT mobile telephone products as background of numerical investigation, then applies software Matlab6.0 to draw up procedures and get the answers.
