Supply Chain Modeling And It's Dynamics Studying

Supply chain dynamics is one of key issues in the field of supply chain management.As a typical behavior model of Supply chain dynamics, the bullwhip effect is a frontier research of supply chain management. Exploring the mechanism of supply chain dynamics through supply chain modeling not only benefits corporations in supply chain to become more efficient and more competitive,but also improves the performance of the whole supply chain.In this paper, the mechanism of supply chain dynamics through supply chain modeling is analyzed in five aspects. Firstly, the author summarizes the development of supply chain modeling and supply chain dynamics and puts forward the key problems which this paper would direct to. Secondly, using system dynamics,the supply chain is modeled to analyze what will happen to supply chain dynamics under the general condition and the special condition that the fund is limited. Thirdly, based on the model which is set up in the second aspect, the author argues the causes of the bullwhip effect and the policies to weaken it. What is more, the causes are sorted according to the degree of significance and the impact of sharing information is analyzed quantitatively. The paper also compares the performance to improve the bullwhip effect among different sharing information modes on the basis mentioned above. Fouthly, by using system dynamics, the closed-loop supply chain is discussed. The paper respectively discusses the performance of the supply chain dynamics under different market reactions and different environmental policies. Finally, based on the research above, the author give a special case study about the real estate industry.With the help of system dynamics, this paper discusses the supply chain mechanism in detail according to different situations and gets some new viewpoints. The contributions are as follows:1. The paper discusses the known causes of the bullwhip effect and their respective impact. What is more, the performance to improve the bullwhip effect among different sharing information modes is made quantitativelyaccording to the theory aspect and the practiced methods aspect.2. By using system dynamics, the closed-loop supply chain is modeled to discuss the performance of the supply chain dynamics under different market reactions and different policy environments3. Using system dynamics,the supply chain is modeled to analyze what will happen to supply chain dynamics under the special condition that the fund is limited.
