With the gradual development of education reform, higher vocational education also takes place enormous change. At present, higher vocational education already becomes the focus of society that as the important ingredient of higher education of our country. Meanwhile, economy, science and technology, and social development put forward the higher claims on training accounting talents in higher vocational college. Traditional education system couldn't meet the marketing needs in new situation, it is critical for us to make reforms in education.After analysing the conception, the present situation, the features of accounting in higher vocational college, in order to train the accounting talents toward 21st century ,to meet the market demand, the article proceeds a primary research in teaching reform about accounting in higher vocational college according to the instruction of"the decision on deepening educational reform and carrying quality education in all round way by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council". The main aspects that are researched and discussed are as follows: The first one is the teaching ideas about accounting in higher vocational college. The second one is curriculum system about accounting in higher vocational college. It puts forwards some proposals for the situation of shortage of tax accounting knowledge. The third one is the reforms in teaching about accounting in higher vocational college. In this part, it discussed that teaching aim, teaching consent, teaching methods, and put forwards some proposals that take employment as the direction, aim at training the applied talents of technology for the society. The fourth one is evaluation system of accounting student in the higher vocational college. The evaluation environment should be similar to working environment. The fifth one is to strength the teacher resources about accounting in higher vocational college. The last part is to expound the difficulty and problems and to put forward thinking and suggestion.
