A Study On The Development Of Japan's Information Industry

Since the entry of 21st century, with the development of economy all over the world, we have stepped into the age of Global Village and at the same time, Information Industry has become more and more a powerful momentum on global economy. At this very age, information technology has been involved in all walks of life and has developed into the"propeller"of economy development. Japan, in the waves of global informationization, has been aware of the importance of information industry.Japan, beginning its informationization in 1960s, also went through a tough process during the 40 years, which featured beginning, summit, recession and second flourishing and which also accurately recorded the path of Japan's economy development. Studying the development of Japan's information industry can not only help us clearly keep track of Japan's economy development and give us a better view of present status of its industries, but help us find out the restraints to sound development of Japan's information industry after analysis and summary, while at the same time, find out the economic point of growth of Japan. Thus, it proves its operation significance.Based upon the history of Japan's Information industry development, the thesis study Japan's information industry development in four parts:First, all stages of Japan's information industry development and achievement of each stage; Second, analysis of the prodigious effect that development of information industry has on economy and society; Third, summary of the problems happened during the process of Japan's informationization and the challenges it faced; Last, conclusion of the above analysis and come up with some suggestion for China's information industry development.
