In Today's fast-changing economic environment, to build learning organization and to gain quick-responding ability become urgent needs of Chinese companies. This article introduces a new enterprise knowledge-management tool, E-learning system, which can help to effectively build learning organization for companies.Compared with the traditional training methods, E-learning has many remarkable advantages. It can provide training any where, any time, as long as the trainee has a computer and access to the internet. Also, it can sharply reduce the company's training cost by cutting down the cost of accomodation and traveling required by traditional class-room training, as well as the instructor's expense.In the third chapter, the article proposes some key factors to successfully implement E-learning system, including preparation in corporate culture and training policy; preparation in IT hardware and software; selection of E-learning platform; quality control of course development; integration of E-learning into the traditional training system; and optimization of the implementation process.The article introduces a real world case from the author's working experience as an E-learning specialist, to demonstrate the strategic steps and process to implement the corporate E-learning system. Also, a new employee orientation course is taken as sample to introduce some instructional design strategies and skills.In the last part, the article makes some objective appraisals to the current status of the E-learning theory development and corporate application. Also, the article analyzes the problems and obstacles in the E-learning corporate application and proposes some suggestions and methods for improvement.
