This paper focuses on 360-degree feedback used by corporations, mainly analyses the relationship between 360-degree feedback and Chinese Traditional Culture, explores the negative impact of Chinese Traditional Culture on 360-degree feedback, and seeks ask for the solution to eliminate the negative impact.Base on reading and analyzing many correlative literatures, through realizing and grasping corporations' 360-degree feedback as well as systematically grasping the essential spirit of Chinese Traditional Culture, this paper further searches the negative impact of Chinese Traditional Culture on 360-degree feedback from six aspects including superordinate appraisal, subordinate appraisal, self-appraisal, client appraisal, colleague appraisal and whole appraisal. Research shows that the spirit of the peace and the doctrine of the mean, hierachical system and patriarchal style, collectivism and the notion of courtesy, the interpersonal principle of human feelings and face, diversity-orderly structure and the golden mean may lead to central tendency, leniency tendency, modesty bias and in-group bias of 360-degree feedback. Base on realizing the negative impact, the paper suggests that the corporations which want to use 360-degree feedback can take action through selecting suited implementary company to 360-degree feedback, building suited corporate culture to 360-degree feedback and establishing scientific and reasonable appraisal system via the way of institutionalization of corporate culture, and creating open communication path to dispel the negative impact of Chinese Traditional Culture on 360-degree feedback to fully exert the function of 360-degree feedback.
