| With the development of economic globalization, competition between companies is becoming harsh. For the sake of cutting cost, improving efficiency, companies take flexible ways to employ non-permanent workers. On labor market, rich labor supply meets companies' need. At the same time, with international famous hotel groups entering China hotel market, private-run hotels growth and development, state-owned hotels transformation, the competition in China hotel market is also turning fierce. In order to adapt to new dramatic market change, strengthen hotels' competition and gain satisfied profit, hotels constantly hire a lot of non-permanent employees to control cost, so that they can keep their competition advantage. Under this circumstance, it is necessary to pay more attention to hotel non-permanent employees. The purpose of thesis is to provide insights into the current work status of non-permanent employees and consider how to manage them efficiently with cost-control, so that non-permanent employees can fully play their role in hotels. This thesis consists of 6 chapters.Chapter 1. Introduction. This chapter is an introduction that addresses research background and its significance, research framework, methodology as well as main contents of research. Chapter2. Literature review. This chapter draws on insights of some basic theories about non-permanent employees study from broader literatures. It helps to produce a generic framework for analyzing work status and management measures of non-permanent employees. Chapter3. Summary of non-permanent employee basic theories. This part introduces definition and features. What's more, reasons of non-permanent employee development are analyzed. Chapter4. Empirical study. Through questionnaire analysis, interview and case study.we analyze the current work status of hotel non-permanent employees in detail. In this part, reliability and valid analysis, factor analysis, means analysis, one way ANOVA analysis and regression analysis are adopted to illustrate work status issue. Chapter5. Management measures. This chapter analyzes the problems of non-permanent employees management and brings up five relevant suggestions. Chapter6. Conclusion. The limitations and future study orientations have been illustrated. |
