The Construction Of Supporting Network For Providing For Remained Elderly In Rural Areas

Along with the development of economy, a large number of the young rural labors migrating out of rural areas for work in urban areas. At the same time, large amount of the aged people choose to stay behind rural areas because of some subjective and objective reasons. It is formed a special group-"remained elder" group. The support for rural elderly has been attached attention to the whole society.Based on analyzing a large number of correlated thesis and data, this article is aimed at researching the problems of the remained elderly in rural areas from the angle of view of daily life tendance, medical treatment, economic support and psychological comfort respective, raise the countermeasure and the support network for them according to analyzing the subjective and objective reasons for these problems.First of all, this article believes that pro-modernization feature largely in the support pattern for the remained behind in rural areas. In our country, the social security system has not established perfect, so the remained elderly in rural areas tend to seek the support of inter-family .Household providing for the aged still is the most important pattern for remained elderly in rural areas. But along with the children migrating to the urban areas, this function has been decreased. Second, the role of rural community on the support for the remained elderly in rural areas is important .At last, it emphasized the family also play an important role in look after the remained elderly. Of course, all of them were based on national policies.The new attempt of this article lies in the following two. In the first place, correlated theory is tentatively integrated with reality condition of our country's rural areas and the remained elderly in rural areas is unambiguously defined. Secondly, attempt to integrate the two study results for the past, the one is the impact of labor migration on remained elder in rural areas, the other is the support for the aged in rural areas. Try to establish a support network for the remained elderly in rural areas which integrated with reality condition of rural areas to explore a new route to solve this problem.
