Management of contractors always attracts significant attention in the plants.Focused on the application, the research investigates the contractor management experience in Qinshan Phaseâ…¢and peer plants, reforms the previous system and process of contractor management in Qinshan Phaseâ…¢with the support of the Group Decision System(GDS), establishes an star-management indicator system which involves safety, quality, schedule and management areas and analyzes the application of the system.The establishment of the star-management indicator system solves the problem of lack of measurable criteria in previous evaluation. With a set of systematic and quantitative indictors, the evaluation of the contractor performance become more specifically and operationally. also the system set out a graded benchmarking, which make the contractors easy to find out their distance to the graded target and then take corresponding actions to remedy.The research and its fruit would benefits the promotion of Performance evaluation of the contractor in nuclear power plant and bring the plant visual profits.
