The Research Of Workflow Management Realization And Business Process Modeling Based On UML In PDM Implementation

PDM implementation is a long-term,complicated and systematic project, and the structure and function of enterprises are very complicated too. In order to reduce the risk of PDM implementation and achieve the goals of anticipation, we need to establish appropriate enterprise model. Business process modeling is an important part of enterprise modeling. The UML is the object-oriented and standard unified modeling language. The paper mainly studies the business process modeling based on UML and utilize the workflow management to realize business process automation.The paper analyzes the relationship between PDM implementation and enterprise modeling, the relationship between enterprise modeling and business process modeling and the relationship between workflow management and business process modeling. On the basis of analyzing the main enterprise modeling and business process modeling techniques and their advantages and disadvantages, depending on the characteristics of the motor industry, such as there are various of products and business process, with an example of an enterprise that produces motor in Nanning of Guangxi, the paper establishs the method of business process modeling based on UML. The paper Designs the workflow management system, mainly developes the workflow modeling tool, which can modeling process graphically, deploy time and performer, save and distill process models, and so on. The paper Realizes to modeling the usual business process in motor industry based on UML, so that, for the business process, the implementation members can have an explicit and unambiguous viewpoint. It also forms a foundation for the business process automation realized by workflow management system. Then Converts the business process model to corresponding workflow model on the platform of workflow management system and implements the workflow model. After testing by practice, verifies the business process model is valid by using the workflow management system.
