Study On Ecological Effects Of Urbanization Course In XI'AN

Urbanization is the result and symbol of social progress. In urban development process, through exploiting lands on a large scale, we enhance arrangement of the industrial dimension, So that the regional economic strength has also been enhanced. However, during this course, due to the uncertainty and complexity of our exploiting acts, we are boosting the disorder of regional environment and make the ecological environmental problem become more and more outstanding. Xi'an as the important Region in Shaanxi province especially in the whole west, the urban construction has made a lot of changes, such as economy,society,the land use and so on , this changes will influence Xi'an eco-environment greatly. So by analyzing the influence to eco-environment synthetically caused by the changes, we can recognize the environmental problems of urbanization fully and adopt reasonable actions against it, at the same time the aim of harmony between urbanization and environment can be achieved.On the foundation of the domestic and foreign research results, this paper, starts with analysizing urbanization course and current environment in Xi'an, on the basis of the coupling regulations between urbanization and eco-environment,using the Associated Analysis of Grey system, builds the associated degree model and coupling degree model of urbanization and eco-environment, using these models anylizes the main characters of coupling effects between urbanization and eco-environment in Xi'an, according the results, discusses the impacts on eco-environment which the urbanization(economy increasing,the population assembling and the changes of land use)brings to in Xi'an.In the end, based on the influence, this paper suggests several countermeasures by police control (such as the development of economy,the control of pollutiont,the intensive land use and so on)to solve the problems impacted by urbanization in Xi'an. Through these studies, we get the following: (1) The urbanization (1952-2005) in Xi'an has experienced three periods, rapid urbanization period (1952-1957), stagnant urbanization period (1957-1978), unfaltering urbanization period (1978-2005). It's urbanization level is close to that of the average level in China, far bellow that of the coastal region at present.(2) The coupling effect between urbanization and eco-environment from 1991 to 2005 in Xi'an is strong, it's coupling curve is the combination of the converse "U" (1991-1996)and "U"(1996-2005).(3)the coupling course between urbanization and eco-environment is still at resisting stage,it's coupling current is in the standard sustainable period.(4) The EKC curves in XI'AN is different from that of the developed countries, it shows that the relation of the urbanization and eco-environment is opposite; in the course of urbanization, the living garbage, the living sewage and the yawp is rising, produced by the increasing people in XI'AN; it has lost 1.3 hundred million yuan from 1996 to 2003 in Xi'an because of the change of land use.
