Study On Coordinated Development Between Urbanization And Eco-Environment

Urbanization is an inevitable result of social and economic development in China. The urbanization is a "double-edged sword", which promotes economic society to develop constantly on one hand, leads to destruction unavoidably in various degree to the ecological environment on the other hand. Therefore, many national government and scholars are focusing on these eco-environmental problems induced by urbanization. On the basis of their achievement, this thesis distinguishes the concepts of urbanization and eco-environment. Then according to sustainable theory, economics, statistics and other theory, urbanization and eco-environment are systemically analyzed, and the indicator system for evaluating urbanization and eco-environment is built up. Thirdly, the coordination degree model for appraising the coordinative degree of them is designed.This thesis has concretely analyzed the current sistuations of urbanization and eco-environment in Pingxiang city. Then this thesis establishes the indicator system for evaluating urbanization and eco-environment of Pingxiang city and evaluates the urbanization and eco-environment. Thirdly, the characteristics, rule and mechanism of it's urbanization and eco- environment coupling are emphatically researched and the coupling types and levels of past 13 years also quantitatively evaluated in detail: there are four coupling types involved in Pingxiang city: Coordinative in 11years , basically coordinative in 1 year, conflictive in 1 year, situated a critical point in 1 year, and apparently the coordination is the main one. Accordingly, the three suggestiongs to coordinate regional sustainable development are advanced. With the case studies, it proved the evaluation and method and the judgment system which was simple and effective to appraise and coordinated regional urbanization development protection: Pingxiang should build energy sources economized system for empoldering and utilizing, which will reduce ecological environmental pressure. Then promoting tertiary industry growth, which will accelerate population migration from rural urbanization. At the mean while, accelerating technological innovation for persistence development.
